Beyond the Pursuit of Happiness
We often think that happiness is when we selfishly pursue pleasures that will give us instant gratification. However, lasting and true happiness may only come when we pursue things other than happiness, things beyond happiness, such as righteousness and mercy and purity and peace, among other things.
